Hello everyone.
Before I begin, let me just say that firstly, our admin count has dwindled to just OniNovaa (https://www.deviantart.com/oninovaa). Archaic-Scrolls has reached a point where most of it's members have fallen away. This isn't anyone's fault but the admins ( or lack of ). However, this puts us at a very bad place, as there's only myself to maintain it.
Therefore, we are no longer accepting members, UNTIL we receive new admins. But unfortunately, until that time, we will be closing...
A hiatus, if you will.

The more you interact with your character, the more Pieces you gain. The more Pieces you gain, the more you can buy. According to the things you draw and / or write, determines how much you'll get.
You do not get Pieces for other people's artwork / literature.
Other's artwork may however, be submitted to the group.
As you buy items with your Pieces your character may transform into a more powerful and larger being. However, until certain items are bought, your character's transformation abilities are very limited ( this is to keep characters from being overly powerful ).

About Humans
Humans in 1400's Edo Japan are wary of outsiders, and typically have small villages with a few larger cities. They are very traditional, and women are mostly considered property rather than people. A time with noblemen, princesses, and samurai house a bit of chaos, and thus there is a lot of bloodshed already without the added fact that yokai have arisen once again. Humans have begun to turn on themselves now more than ever.
Demeanor : Can be good or bad. Just like humans now- back then it was the same. However, without strict law-enforcement, there are a lot more bad, than good...
